Voice check-ins · Product preview
A few words.
A record to keep.
Speak about your mood, energy, or symptoms. Quenie transcribes on your iPhone, then lets you review the transcript and proposed details before saving.
In development · Initial release planned for the US
Current build: iOS 26.5 or later. On-device voice depends on device and language support, an installed speech model, and microphone permission.
Capture, review, save.
- Choose Speak. Microphone permission is requested when you choose to record. Say what you want to remember.
- Check the transcript. Review and edit the proposed details. Speech recognition and interpretation can make mistakes.
- Save your check-in. Keep the observation in your history. A saved note is an observation, not proof of a cycle pattern.
If voice isn’t available, type.
When you choose Speak, Quenie checks whether on-device speech supports your current language and downloads the model if needed. If voice cannot start, you can type instead.
Your language needs to be supported by Apple’s on-device speech system on your device. An initial speech-model download may need an internet connection.
Quenie has no remote transcription fallback. If support, permission, or the model download is unavailable, you can use typing or a manual check-in.
On-device transcription. No saved audio.
Audio is processed on your iPhone and discarded, rather than saved as an audio file. The check-in you choose to save becomes part of your local record. Apple device backups may include app data.
